The Manson Apple Blossom Festival happens every spring right here in the Chelan Valley.
It is a tradition that has stayed with the community for over a century with the first celebration taking place in the 1920’s. This will be the event’s 102nd annual fete! These past festivals have boasted events such as 5k marathons, basketball tournaments, street fairs, and pancake breakfasts. We also suspect there will be no shortage of apples there! The entire family will find something to enjoy over this anticipated May weekend. So come experience the local happenings starting Friday the 13th of May for a weekend of celebration.
Apple Blossom Pageant
Having now crowned over 100 years of royalty, the Apple Blossom Festival will start off with its annual pageant on Friday evening. Come see the event and watch the queens and princesses get capped with tiaras that night, starting at 6:00 pm. There you will see past and present Apple Blossom Royalty honoring Manson’s rich history.
Watch the Grand Parade
Saturday the 14th at 11:00 in the morning bring your family out to the streets of downtown Manson where the historic parade will take place. You’ll be able to see all the hallmarks of life in the valley and classic parade perks. Join the American Legion members, fire trucks, EMS, and police vehicles as they march down the avenue and don’t miss the Manson Apple Blossom float! Past and present royalty will line the roads while riding in impressive cars and on horses. There will likewise be various groups walking in the parade and promoting their organizations.
Enjoy Art While Drinking Local
Go grab a glass of vino at Radiance Winery where you can enjoy some of the valley’s authentic wine and take in local art. Radiance will be displaying both community and student art during business hours on Friday and Saturday. You’ll certainly want to check out the talent all while sipping on some merlot!
Quilt Show
The annual quilt show will be held at the Manson Grange Hall on Saturday from 8:00-3:00. This established tradition showcases a talent of small-town Manson that makes you feel not only the charm of a little community, but also the magic of yester-year nostalgia.
