Heavy coats, beanies, scarves, and gloves are all your new best friends. Now that we’ve covered that, onto the fun stuff!

They offer ski and snowboard instruction for all ages and abilities, as well as the option to spend the day flying down the tubing hill! Cozy up in the lodge afterward and sip hot chocolate by the fire.

It may be a quieter time of year, but there’s always something going in our valley. There are plenty of events to look forward to all winter long. And trust us – you won’t want to miss out on any of them. There’s Small Town Christmas in December and Red Wine & Chocolate in February. And, of course, there’s everyone’s favorite winter event in January – Winterfest! It’s two weekends of snow and ice, good drinks, live music, and general cheer! We recommend buying a Winterfest button that gets you into the ice bar, horse-drawn carriage rides, and special offers and discounts at participating businesses.

COZY ATMOSPHERES
There’s something special about watching the snow fall from a cozy perch inside with a good drink in hand. There’s plenty of opportunity for this in Lake Chelan. There are several cozy coffee shops like Kave Roasters or the Lake Chelan Artisan Bakery where you can post up with a book or catch up on emails.Grab dinner at a beloved local eatery like Wapato Point Cellars in Manson or Fox and Quail Cafe inChelan. Sip and savor at a winery, brewery, or cidery with friends at one of the many tasting rooms in the valley. Or warm up while showing off your dance moves during live music at The Vogue every Friday and Saturday.

There’s a reason Lake Chelan is a year-round destination. We hope you take full advantage of our valley’s many resources and opportunities. We sure do!
